A foldable inspired by the Galaxy Z Fold
As a source at 91mobiles, we know that a new patent for Google’s foldable mobile has surfaced, which brings us directly on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 betting on this type of folding or shape.
The patent was Registered with WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) in June 2021, but until yesterday its publication was not known. As we mentioned, this is a foldable that has many similarities to the Galaxy Z Fold series.
Google’s foldable follow the guidelines seen in this type of folding that open like a tablet and close to leave a smartphone-like format; yes, the thickness when folded is one of the biggest handicaps, although Xiaomi has gone to great lengths to reduce it by paying a fine for the ability to resist water and more.
Perhaps the most curious thing about this patent is that a selfie camera appears located on the top bezel, unlike the Z Fold 4 which keeps it under the camera. A notable difference for a patent that leaves us the direct path to this presentation of the Pixel 7.
Of course, we know little more about the back of this folding and if it will play with this distinctive feature of the Pixel with the tape for the camera module. A foldable that could be called Pixel Fold or Pixel Notepad, so we want to know more about this next big G device.
