Destiny 2 Season of Plunder end date: When will season 18 end?
Destiny 2 Season of Plunder had a Tuesday, August 23 release dateand go ends Tuesday, December 6 at regular weekly reset times.
Don’t worry if you haven’t completed the Sails of the Shipstealer seasonal quest by then – you have until the start of Year 6/Lightfall to do so.
However, there are other things to finish before the arrival of the next season…
The season of plunder has arrived! New additions include the Sails of the Shipstealer quest and Quicksilver Storm. Meanwhile, there is the arrival of King’s Fall. Before that, haunting season continues. Familiarize yourself with our leveling guide before tackling the Duality dungeon and learn how to collect Calus Bobblehead locations, Calus Automaton locations, and find all Opulent Key chests. For The Witch Queen, find out how to get Exotics including Dead Messenger and Parasite. Late last year, we saw Bungie’s 30th anniversary, which introduced the Grasp of Avarice dungeon, weird rooms, and new Exotics including the Gjallarhorn and Forerunner.
What should you do before Destiny 2 Season 18 ends?
Like every season, there is a list of things to do before the end of the season. This includes:
- Claim all Season Titles you have earned.
- Watch the end of the seasonal scenario. Usually this doesn’t require you to complete a season’s quest – for season 18 it’s Sails of the Shipstealer – and while this is playable until the start of Lightfall and Year 6, this ending will expire when Season 19 arrives.
- Reach Legend Rank in any matchmaking activity – Crucible, Gambit, or Strikes – and redeem their vendor-specific rewards.
- Use all remaining Season Pass rewards in all classes.
- Have a few completed bounties ready, as well as max out relevant materials and Glimmer, to give you a head start for the start of next season.
With until December to get everything you need, there should hopefully be plenty of time. Enjoy your filibuster space while you wait!
