A few hours ago we told you that all Kingdom Hearts games will finally be available on the Xbox One. The Square Enix franchise arrives for the first time in Microsoft's console thanks to the advent of HD compilation that covers all games in the series.
However, out of the ten titles they add now, the additional Kingdom Hearts III that is available for a year now, what sequences should you play? Of course it is a question that asks more than one. Especially since, as was the case with Star Wars, the released games have not been chronological. That is, there were some headlines that happened before the first franchise game that later appeared in the first.
Find it all: the chronology of the Kingdom's hearts
So, in Xbox Generation we are committed to helping you figure out what chronology to follow with the Kingdom Hearts saga. With this, you are convinced that you are playing with conflicting order, knowing the plot from its origin to its end by the third installment.
To make this list we will use the names included in each compilation, and where we are found. In addition, and to avoid spoilers and developments, we will not include any information on the incident to any of them. Because, if you're here to get yourself a Salt for Black want, right? In any case, if you want a home-grown title, you can move on to our Roads to Kingdom Hearts III compilation, where we review the history and most important moments of each play.
And now, without further ado, this is a timeline where you want to play the Kingdom Hearts saga. Of course, it's all available on the Xbox One.
- Kingdom Hearts x Black hole (movie included) KH 2.8).
- Kingdom Hearts for Birth through a Compilation of Successful Sleep (KH 1.5 + 2,5).
- Kingdom Hearts Birthday Sleep 0.8 Clear World (KH 2.8).
- Kingdom Hearts Keeping Integration (KH 1.5 + 2,5).
- Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (scenes included KH 1.5 + 2,5).
- Kingdom Hearts Re: A Kind Of Remembering (KH 1.5 + 2,5).
- Kingdom Hearts II (KH 1.5 + 2,5).
- Kingdom Hearts Re: Codes (enclosed scenes KH 1.5 + 2,5).
- Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD (KH 2.8).
- Kingdom Hearts III.
Some of the little notes that should be mentioned in this chronology are the state of some games. For example, Passport Pass is a game that starts just at the end of Birth, but takes place at random, intersecting with other game sessions. For example, the epilogue takes place at the same time as the end of Dota Drop Distance.
The same thing happened with 358/2 and Re: Chain of Memories, two real-time articles, which convey many of their stories and that lead to both events of the second entry. Finally, mention that there are articles that occur during other games, such as Re: Coded, that took place prior to the Kingdom Hearts II program.
Some details to keep in mind, which may make more than one willing to play the saga in the startup order, are that there are final titles directly linked to others. Something that would make sense, if not because the topics are temporarily separated from each other. The clearest example is that the only birth is Sleep, which, of course, directly relates to the food of the second saga title.
Bonus Truck: order delivery
For this reason, it would be a good idea to play it the way they left. There are those who say that this is how we should play the saga, because even though we do not chronologically follow, we are surprised by the different turns. So, if you like to play it this way, we also have a list prepared for you.
