If bluish-purple is going to be the iPhone 14’s most striking color, maybe a new shade of red it’s in the Apple Watch Series 8. Or so says ShrimpApplePro, a leaker who got some new data on the next generation of Apple smartwatches.

Here are some tidbits, more details on the standard Series 8:
• Yes they are still 41-55mm confirmed If anyone still wondering.
• Red from (PRODUCT) RED is a new shade of red.
• the seal box design is still the same except they added more glue underneath pic.twitter.com/0bqM4ze6AR— ShrimpApplePro 🍤 (@VNchocoTaco) August 30, 2022
ShrimpApplePro claims we’ll see the same watch sizes on the Series 8: 41 and 45mm (and that means bands from previous models will still be compatible). In terms of colors, the dark blues and greens of the Apple Watch Series 7 disappear and we would return to the Midnight, Star White, Silver and Red range of (PRODUCT)RED. The difference is that that the red of the (PRODUCT)RED model would be a different shade differentiate between generations.
And then there is a curious detail: apparently Apple will apply more glue in the opening area of the boxes
The Apple Watch Series 8 should be presented on Wednesday, September 7, day when Apple will organize one of its events. Very soon we will offer you all the details of the live monitoring that we will carry out both from Europe and from the Apple Park itself.
