One of Google’s improvements for these mobiles, according to leaks, would be related to audio, since all the mobiles in the series would have support for Bluetooth LE Audio.
This is an improvement over its predecessors that would allow for lower latency and lower battery consumption when using your headphones or a Bluetooth speaker.
Less battery drain
The Google Pixel 7, 7 Pro and 7a they will all have Bluetooth LE, more efficient than the classic one and which would reduce battery consumption when connecting your smartphone to a device for playing multimedia such as a portable speaker.
In addition, Google will include in these mobiles the LC3 Bluetooth codec, which, as 9to5Google reports, compresses audio more efficiently and better addresses interference issues.
To take full advantage of it, you must keep in mind that the headphones or speakers you are using must be compatible with this codec, you will therefore have to buy new ones when they are more widespread in the market.
The Google Pixel Buds do not currently support this standard, so we would also expect the US manufacturer to launch a new model of your helmet soon that it was compatible with Bluetooth LE and the LC3 codec.
