The Logitech feat Tencent partnership’s portable console, announced in August, has just been leaked. We can discover that.
In August 2022, we told you about Logitech’s console project in partnership with Chinese giant Tencent. Well, it turns out that barely a month later, a well-known tech twitter user leaked images of this console.
A leak in images of the Logitech console
If the images have disappeared from the original tweet at the request of Logitech/Tencent, you can find them in this news.
Looks like Nintendo Switch
What we can say is that the design is undoubtedly very heavily inspired by the Nintendo Switch. The positioning of the keys and knobs is also quite similar. It’s hard not to connect, especially around the joysticks and triggers.
So there’s a joystick on each side for an asymmetrical layout, a directional cross and a Logitech G button on the left, classic A, B, X, and Y buttons, and a home button on the right.
This similarity to the Nintendo console is even reflected in the menu. Especially in its layout and in its refined side. In the image above we can see several software installed on the cloud side with Xbox Cloud Gaming, GeForce Now, Steam (in remote play) but also YouTube, Google Play or Chrome.
There are also five icons dedicated to food, settings, photos, email and what appears to be the user profile without getting too wet. Everything should run on Android. Of course, the big unknown remains the price and, by the way, the release date.
