Pokemon Go The Season of Light kicks off tomorrow, September 1, and it sees the return of Professor Willow and the debut of the legendary Pokemon Cosmog.
Special research will be unlocked this season, so be sure to keep an eye on your research tab.
Raids during the Season of Light will feature Deoxys in normal, attack, defense and speed forms, with research breakthroughs focused on Medicham.

Seasonal rewards for the period will include increased damage for Pokemon participating in raids remotely, you’ll receive guaranteed gifts from PokeStop spins, increased incense while moving, up to two free raid passes per day by spinning gym photo discs, Extra items from Research Breakthroughs, increased Stardust rewards for Research Breakthroughs, and extra Stardust from Gifts.

Saturday, September 3, 11am-2pm local time, psychic wonder event Will be broadcast live, featuring Inkay. Also, for the first time in Pokemon Go, if you’re lucky, you’ll be able to meet Shiny Inkay.
As you spin Photo Discs at PokeStops, complete field research missions to meet Inkay.
The event reward will distribute 2×Candy to catch Pokémon.
