Personalization in iOS has grown exponentially in recent years. A few years ago, imagining being able to customize the lock screen was impossible. Now we are only a few weeks away from being able to have iOS 16 with us, the operating system that allows us to customize our device the most. However, there are other aspects of iOS that are not yet natively customizable. Through a third-party application, we will teach you to change the background color of the messages we send through iMessage.
Quickly change background color of iMessages
Application is matter is Color speech bubbles. Its name already gives us a glimpse of its mission. And that is none other than changing the color of the text clouds that we send through iMessage. Until now, all the backgrounds of these messages were blue. However, with this application we can change it to give more color to our conversations.
Once the application is downloaded from the App Store, we can start customizing. To start, we will have to open the iMessages application since the application that we have downloaded is specific to this messaging service. When you go to send a message, in the application carousel that appears above the keyboard, you will have to search for the application that we have just installed. Click on the app icon.

Once in the application, we can send a predefined message or click on “Type a personalized message” to send your own edited message. Once in the editor, we can change text, color, shape, size and font before sending the message to your recipient.
The free version of the app contains ads, so you have to be careful when pressing the “X” to exit ads, lest you enter websites unintentionally. Although a rudimentary way to personalize messages it’s yet another way to give personality to your messages.
