A lot has happened since our last survey of your graphics cards at the end of 2021. Not only have new models such as the Geforce RTX 3050 and the Radeon RX 6500 XT come onto the market, but prices have also fallen drastically and availability has improved enormously.
Two brief comparisons for classification: While the KFA² RTX 3080 SG 1-Click OC model still cost at least 1,500 dollars at the end of 2021, the Nvidia graphics card is currently just under 800 dollars. The popular Radeon GPU ASUS RX 6700 XT Dual then cost around 900 dollars, today it is 430 dollars.

Before the upcoming release of the new generations RTX 4000 (Nvidia) and RX 7000 (AMD), we want to know from you again which graphics card is currently in your gaming computer. We look forward to a lively participation in the following survey:
The graphics card market has recently shrunk considerably
The fact that the availability of GPUs has improved significantly is due to several aspects. A drop in demand is likely to be one of them. For example, market research firm Jon Peddie Research (JPR) put it in a Evaluation for the second quarter of 2022 overall GPU shipments were down 14.9 percent compared to the first quarter.
Nvidia was hit the hardest with -25.7 percent. AMD was down 7.6 percent and Intel, with its GPUs integrated into processors, was down 9.8 percent.
As reasons for the decline JPR names, among other things, the war in the Ukraine, the bottlenecks in the energy supply caused by the lack of Russian gas in some cases and the high inflation in Great Britain, which has led to an overall weakening of the economy in Europe.
There are still rumors and leaks about the new graphics types. A supposed picture of the new Geforce RTX 4080 even appeared recently:
