However, since Children of the Forest is the sequel to the wildly popular PC horror film The Forest, the importance of making a first impression makes sense. The previous game quickly became one of the most popular ghost experiences on the platform, which meant there was a lot of hype on Endnight Games’ store.
For those who don’t know, Children of the Forest puts you in the role of a brave man who is sent to find a missing billionaire, but in the end you find cannibals and other evils. So you need to craft equipment and carve your own way out of the forest to escape.
It’s easy to be a little disappointed with news like this, especially since the October 2022 release date would have been the perfect Halloween treat, but the delay to make sure the game is in the right place is understandable, especially because of the aforementioned tweet Pointing this out is the “last one”.
