Chromecast HD with Google TV would arrive in a month
Thanks to WinFuture, we know that the new cheap Chromecast with Google TV would be just around the corner. According to the latest leaks from Germany, Google would already send the new device to the first distributors
Information from a distributor has confirmed to said media that they are receiving a new “Streaming Media Player” product named “Google G454V”which is the code that appears in the FCC of this cheapest Chromecast with Google TV.
This new Chromecast with Google TV (2022) will be the HD version of the current Chromecast with Google TV (2020) and successor to the Chromecast 3. Therefore, in a few weeks we would find for sale the HD version for the resolutions up to 1080p and the current 4K version which is officially sold at 69.99 dollars.
The price of the cheap version of Chromecast with Google TV it’s still a mystery, but according to the leak will be around 40 dollars. The Chromecast 3 is currently priced at $39.99, so the Chromecast with Google TV price should be between $39.99 and $44.99, which would be 40% cheaper than the 4K model. This inexpensive version would carry the same remote control and the same capacity (8 GB of storage) to install applications and games for the Custom Android TV version with Google TV.
