It’s been a good year since release, but you know what they say: better late than never. The PS5 and Xbox series version of The Witcher 3 has resurfaced through a release from CD Projekt.

The Witcher III is one of the most critically acclaimed games of the last generation and we can’t recommend it enough if you missed it. A breathtaking, deep and generous action RPG that will have allowed the franchise to explode to the general public years after the original books were released. In short, a must.
A must-have to cool down with a nice makeover on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series: It was initially scheduled for the month of October 2021 before being pushed back to the first half of 2022 and then the rest of the year. Here we are in September and… still nothing. Be assured, this new version should be released in time.

The official Twitter account of the game only announced or reconfirmed the information: The Witcher III will be released on PS5 and Xbox Series in late 2022. We don’t know when exactly, but we can rule out 2023 a priori, even though we’ve learned never to say “never”.

We remember at the base, This new generation version, which will feature a major graphics upgrade and ray tracing, was designed by Saber Interactve (the studio that took care of the port to Nintendo Switch) before they are returned internally to CD Projekt. We are obviously never better served than by ourselves.
