Seems flat keyboards are becoming a new trend for gamers and creators. After various manufacturers were able to score with low-profile keyboards, Corsair is now following up with a flat keyboard.
Corsair has announced the new Corsair K100 AIR Wireless mechanical gaming keyboard, which for once is not available now, but is scheduled to be launched on October 4th. Corsair has not yet given a price for the new keyboard.
Corsair aims with an exceptionally flat case that is only 11 mm thick at its thinnest point. Responsive Cherry MX Ultra Low Profile mechanical keyswitches enable tactile keystrokes without full keyswitch standard height.
The K100 AIR offers three ways to connect to a wealth of devices: hyper-fast Slipstream Wireless, Bluetooth with low latency for up to three host devices or USB wired mode for PC and Mac with 8,000 Hz hyperpolling. The battery life of the Brummer should be up to 50 hours with and 200 hours without RGB lighting.
The K100 AIR can switch seamlessly between wireless connections to PC, laptop, tablet and more devices with just a touch of a button for multi-tasking with secure AES 128-bit encryption. Four fully programmable macro keys let you run complex macros, actions, and application calls, and dedicated media keys and a programmable aluminum volume wheel provide convenient control.
