Keyboard function keys
F1: With this button you will always open the help window of the program you have opened in front of you at all times. Try it now, and you will access the help panel of your browser.
F2: If you select a file and press F2, you can rename it directly. The same thing happens when you select a cell in Excel (you'll edit its contents), and if you combine this key with CTRL and ALT, you'll open an Office library.
F3: As a general rule, F3 is used to open the search menu in any app, equivalent to pressing CTRL + F in Chrome or CTRL + B in Office.
F4: It doesn't do anything by itself, but its main function is that when you press it it encounters an ALT button, you'll close the window you have in the foreground then.
F5: This is one of the most used Internet users, because it works to refresh or refresh the page (it also works in Windows Explorer). In PowerPoint it will be used to start the presentation, or in Photoshop it will be used to fill in the selected area in color.
F6: If you press this button while you're in a browser such as Chrome or Firefox, it will point you directly to the address bar to type something without touching the mouse. If you're in the Windows File Explorer, you'll skip the options.
F7: If you press this key while in Word, you will pass the spell check directly. Specifically in Firefox (and in Firefox only) it also works to activate cursor mode, which disables the mouse in disalzarte and will do so with the arrow keys.
F8: It works to turn on failure mode when starting a computer, but it also works, in Word, to select text as if you press CTRL + E.
F9: This is one of the function keys without the usual use, but for example in Outlook it works to force sending and receiving emails. Each system has its own F9 function.
F10: In Chrome, it takes you straight to the navigation bar, where you can move it with the arrow keys. When you combine the F10 with SHIFT, it has the same effect as pressing the right mouse button. In the file browser you have to integrate it with ALT instead.
F11: In Internet browsers such as Chrome or Firefox and also in Windows file Explorer, enable full screen mode. To return to the normal view you just have to click again.
F12: In Chrome open the source code of the web page you are viewing, but in Word for example open the "Save As …" box to save the document you have opened.
