Sony announces PlayStation State of Play live stream for September 13th

Sony will broadcast a new State of Play presentation on Tuesday, September 13th. September’s State of Play presentation will be streamed live on PlayStation at 6pm EDT/3pm PDT Pull out and youtube Channels.

Tuesday’s digital State of Play event will last approximately 20 minutes, Sony Interactive Entertainment announced PlayStation Blog. The stream promises new reveals and updates for 10 games on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR2. Sony said its next State of Play will feature updates from its Japanese partners “along with some other surprises from developers around the world.” (This year’s Tokyo Game Show starts Thursday, hence the focus on Japanese studios.)

PlayStation’s close Japanese partners include Capcom, which has a major new expansion in store Resident Evil Villagea remake of Resident Evil 4, street fighter 6and a brand new game exoprimal, on his schedule; and Square Enix, which will publish That prophesied early next year and Final Fantasy 16 next summer. Of course, Sony itself has a big release planned for later this year, God of War Ragnarokwhich could also attract attention on Tuesday.

Additionally, PlayStation fans only have to tune into the State of Play on Tuesday to see what else the company has up its sleeve.
