Like every Thursday, the Epic Games Store invites PC players to grab one or more free games. Having played the originality card with Hundred Days, the store remains in the independent scene.
The new Epic Games Store free games are available
It’s 5pm, time to grab gifts from the Epic Games Store. Two free games this week including Spirit of the North. A poetic indie production in which we are a classic red fox. The latter crowds many of Iceland’s landscapes like Death Stranding by Hideo Kojima. In addition to the quiet walk, this fox has to solve puzzles to advance and discover the mysteries of this world but also of Nordic folklore. A more relaxed title than God of War Ragnarok it will be.
The second free game from the Epic Games Store is The captain. A sci-fi point’n’click where Captain Thomas Welmu must traverse the entire galaxy to save Earth. This space fleet science officer can explore worlds, repair and upgrade his ship to prepare for battles, encounter new enemies and land to make difficult decisions.
Both have very positive reviews on Steam.
What are the next free games?
For the next week, Spirit of the North and The Captain are leaving in favor of Ark: Survival Evolved and Gloomhaven, both available September 22-29, 2022. In Ark: Survival Evolved you are stranded on an island and must survive, literally managing dinosaurs before they are born and after they are born. Gloomhaven is a tactical RPG modeled after the physical board game.
