The release of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is getting closer, and there is another large load of information about the great shooter hope of 2022. The previously announced Warzone Mobile is also presented in more detail. The offshoot for mobile devices is scheduled to appear in 2023 and promises a lot of interesting features, which we summarize for you here.

Call of Duty Mobile Warzone revealed: Verdansk is suddenly back

The mobile game was already introduced on September 8th with a very short teaser, but now there is also a longer cinematic trailer, which you can see above. However, while the video is not very meaningful, the developers are now revealing more tangible information about the title.

Warzone Mobile is slated to release for Android and iOS in 2023. However, those who are particularly impatient can already pre-register on Google Play.

Shared progress

The mobile offshoot shares Battlepass progress with Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, so if you’re playing on your smartphone, you’ll be leveling the Battlepass for the other two games as well. There should also be other cross-progression features and shared social features such as friend lists.

Gameplay and controls

Battle Royale gameplay is promised authentic features like operators, weapons and locations and battles with up to 120 players. They take place on the famous Verdansk Warzone map, including the Gulag, which you can use to fight your way back onto the map. A first look at the map is already in the trailer:

Furthermore, own events, playlists and special content will be announced. The controls should be widely customizable to please new players and veterans alike.
