The switch version of The Witcher 3 has recently been updated with a great feature, namely cross-save. Does this now come for PS4 and Xbox One?

The latest game version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is the one for the Switch because the RPG epic only appeared for the Nintendo console last autumn. Nevertheless, this version is now somewhat ahead of the long-standing console versions. Since CD Projekt RED released a new update this week, the switch version has now also supported cross-save with the PC.

This means that you can share your game saves between the PC and the switch. At home, you can gamble hard on the PC before you continue the corresponding storage status on the switch, for example, on the go.

Is this feature now available for owners of multiple platforms or for those switching to the PS4 or Xbox One? The answer to that is unfortunately God's: No! As developer CD Projekt RED emphasizes, this option was specially designed for the switch version. For this, they worked with Saber Interactive, who helped with the switch porting.

"There are no plans for a similar function in the other versions of The Witcher 3," said a spokesman. In short: no cross-save for the PS4 and Xbox versions of the game.
