Disney’s Optics Valley has more than 1 million players

Disneys, million, optics, players, Valley

As Ratatouille’s Remy once said, “If you’re what you eat, I just want to eat good food.” Disney’s Optics Valley is surprisingly good, and I’ll keep fighting for more and more plates until Someone begged me to put it down.

Still want to try? Check out some Disney Dreamlight Valley games here.

I’m probably not alone in this sentiment, Disney’s Valley of Dreams has attracted more than 1 million players since it launched in Early Access ten days ago.The message is shared directly via game twitter accountread “We’re excited to see what you’re discovering about #LiveMagically. Thank you for your excitement, feedback, and sharing the game with your friends. This is just the beginning!”

I never really liked Disney until someone accused me of being a Disney adult who obviously played the game. Of course, I have a huge interest in fringe cult classics like Ratatouille, but frankly I don’t give a damn about the likes of Frozen and Tangled.

That said, Disney’s Dream Valley has done a great job of attracting just about everyone who likes it. Young and old, people who love or hate Disney, people who love it or get rid of it altogether. There’s something for everyone in this quaint sim, so I’m not surprised to see so many players joining.

As stated in the Disney Dream Valley tweet, this is just the beginning of the game. The roadmap from Gameloft earlier this week revealed that we have more to look forward to, including the debut of The Lion King and Toy Story.

Additionally, Gameloft rolled out its first patch today, which fixes an issue with finding Dream Shards. I may or may not have spent seven hours that night searching for a dream shard… which shows how easy it is to waste time in this game. It’s a delightful, jovial world to escape and get lost in!
