PlayStation VR 2 is Sony’s new VR glasses, but does it also run games from the first PSVR? That’s what Sony says about it.
The new PlayStation VR 2 VR glasses will feature several improvements, such as higher resolution, eye tracking and controllers that you can use to grip in virtual reality.
However, there is bad news for owners of the first PlayStation VR. PS VR 1 games will not run on PlayStation VR 2, confirmed Hideaki Nishino, senior vice president of Platform Experience, in a podcast on PlayStation Blog.
PSVR 2 is scheduled for release in early 2023. A price has not yet been set, but it should be at least 400 dollars. Sony has already raised the price of the PS5.
