We have less and less left to enjoy one of the most anticipated games of this end of the year, we are talking about The Callisto Protocol. Everything we know about the game sounds exceptional, as we told you with our impressions after seeing it behind closed doors at the last Gamescom.
Also in the interview we conducted with the director of the game, Glen Schofield, we were able to learn more details about the development of the game and all that it can offer us beyond what has been seen. Some of the things it will offer us will be secret areas to explore, something that will surely give more life to the game and invite us to enter every corner of the map.
The Callisto protocol with secret areas
Sometimes you will find areas that will be connected to previously visited areas to show them in a different way. Everything will seem very messy, but only because it will be an unsettling experience, like the one you will have while exploring an old chapel. It is only after visiting these areas in depth that you will understand that they will be an integral part of the story.
Places that will sometimes seem scarier or darker, wetter or “evil” than before. There will be a lot of audio logs and it will be thanks to them that you will understand what happened, or they will give you useful information about the enemies and the story. It will be small but important. Collectible story fragments. These areas will be well hidden, but if you look for the clues, you can find them.
If all goes as planned, The Callisto Protocol will be available on Xbox starting December 2, 2022.
