The first news about Halo Infinite in months came from some unlikely sources.
Hasbro's toy gun brand Nerf announces a new Halo Copy. The Halo series was selected by Gamespot and includes MA40 Blaster (AR), SPNKR and Needle.
These designs are based on Halo Infinite, which makes them interesting. The code included with the $ 50 MA40 Blaster unlocks Nerf's specific color scheme in Halo Infinite. Halo fans will know that this particular assault rifle model has a new name and a modified design, so it is likely to debut in Infinite.
Of course, this is not the first Halo game that allows players to change the appearance of weapons, but it is certain that Infinite will use skins. Maybe we will even see similar deals with other brands, similar to Call of Duty.
In fact, developer 343 Industries has already promoted Reach-level customizations in Infinite, so we hope these options will be extensive.
There is another interesting wrinkle. All three toys will go on sale on October 1. The release date of Halo Infinite does not exceed the ambiguous 2020 target announced by E3 last year.
Theme toys of this nature are usually released during the launch of their promotional product. Hasbro hopes to increase sales through hype and expectations for the game, so Halo may be available in October. This is obviously completely speculative, but I don't think toys will be sold until the game is launched.
Regardless, as Halo Infinite's next big exhibition, 343 has been promoting the E3 2020, so there is no doubt that we will learn more in June. The game is coming to PC, Xbox One and Xbox SeriesX.
