Buy an item from Panther, Mancake or The Underwriter is a weekly challenge of the first week of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4.
This challenge allows you to visit one of three characters on the Fortnite map and purchase an item from them. Who knows, maybe this will be what you need to tip the match in your favor?
Completing this challenge will reward you with 20,000 XP, which will help you unlock the new Battle Pass skins.

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 is here and with it comes a new Battle Pass! This season introduced EvoChrome weapons, Chrome Splash slots, and the ability to pass through walls. There are also new vault locations and map changes. Paradise Quests are this season’s storyline challenges, including destroying Chrome items to collect Chrome anomalies. Fortnite panther location
Panther can be found in the gas station which is in the middle point between Shimmering Shrine, Rocky Reels and Herald’s Sanctum. To find her, you’ll need to head to the small store in the gas station – although she’s been known to wander outside on occasion.
Although this gas station looks quiet from a distance, it’s a popular place to find a vehicle, so be sure to approach with caution. Still, if you encounter another player, hopefully there will be a car nearby so you can get away quickly.
Fortnite Mancake location
Mancake can be found in Rocky Reels – usually wandering around the east side of the main area and entering one of the buildings on occasion.
Since Rocky Reels may be the most popular landing spot among players, we recommend waiting a few minutes for fights to end before purchasing an item from Mancake.
Fortnite belayer location
The Underwriter is the hardest character to find for this Fortnite challenge, as he’s hiding atop a tower in Tilted Towers.
The easiest way to reach it is to land on top of the tower at the start of a match – just keep an eye out for other players, Titled Towers is a popular spot after all!
Once on the roof, drop down the northern skylight to find yourself very close to The Underwriter.
How to buy an item from Panther, Mancake or The Underwriter in Fortnite
Once you’ve found one of these Fortnite characters, it’s time to purchase an item from them! To do this, simply interact with the character, select what he has for sale and buy it.
Remember that this challenge requires you to purchase an item, which means choosing another service, such as hiring the character, will not count towards this challenge.
Thanks to the gold bars carried over from Chapter 3 Season 3, you should have enough to buy any item on sale. Still, if you’re low on resources, try opening nearby chests, cash registers, or killing another player to get what you need.
