Shinji Mikami and Hideki Kamiya are two old foxes that always go with some freedom, but between cache projects. They got together at Capcom of Resident Evil of the 90s and from there they began to reveal their creativity by designing their apartments. Up from the top they decided to shut down Clover Studio and leave it on the road. They then launched Platinum Games and Atsushi Inaba to continue doing what they want.

Games out of this company have vivid features, a Platinum flavor that can be seen in the first fifteen seconds of a rider: Tricky, exaggerated, high speed, ridiculous thinking, great emptiness, extremely fluid image and surprising control. They don't have huge balls or millions of copies for sale behind their backs, so they've been beating from partner to partner, but the quality is well known. There's Metal Gear Rising: Revenge, Madworld The Wondingly 101, Nier: Automata or one of the wonders of 2019 such as Astral Chain (also rocking like Star Fox Zero or Anarchy Reigns). And of course, the first two, Bayonetta and Vanquish.

The first one got better on PC in 2017 and the second a few weeks ago, in December 2019. Now, the two of them are getting back together in an exciting Xbox One and PS4 package called the Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniviv Bundle. And since we had never updated any new 4K models, we took that opportunity.

Bayonetta paid for Japan in late 2009 and after some time around the world. Kamiya responded with the loss of "His" Devil May Cry in a very similar game but was sorted out even more. Its protagonist is an empireetrix whose unlucky connection is reluctant to send dozens and hundreds of angels to another location based on slums, shots, kicks and magic where his beating is involved. There is a conspiracy and it starts with a lot of energy and a few memories, which take you on a trip through Europe when you need them. It is a pure act and you can enjoy it without drawing your attention, but deep down it has a wonderful story that grows in sequence.

When you play Bayonetta, you understand what accuracy and correct response are in the third-person makeup article. Combos, wizardry and specialties are not only your way to the top or the challenge of getting high points, they are also fun to create with a visual animation.

Vanquish came from the Miami branch and arrived just a year later. He is the third-person shooter who took the western head-type machines yet, as he himself has stated. It was time to shoot and cover, as Gears of War, Halo or Mass Effect taught us. But we are made in Japan and especially in Platinum, so that's what you have to put in place and speed the house. The gameplay is a lot of fun and makes you feel good because it allows you to shoot a gun at a very high speed without much bending.

The prosecutor is Sam Gideon, a marine equipped with an experimental exoskeleton living in the United States from a not-too-distant future when San Francisco was reduced to ashes by a satellite weapon controlling the Order of the Red Star. You'll have to find that lightning bolt before you can use it again, this time against New York. It is a haunting story and is full of topics, silly conversations and weird characters and hypermasculinised characters, better understood as important as imitation.

If you've never played one of them and don't have a PC to play, this pack is worth it. They are two of the most exciting acts of the past generation. Particularly a small witch game, with an impressive control system, logical structure and noisy and loud noises. Failure is heavy over years but it should be recognized for this and has an impact on the whole. At the very least, they are two great examples of what Platinum Games is. Just don't look for a light conspiracy because this studio has never been so important and if you want more stuff you should go to Nier: Automata, with Joko Taro in the lead.

You must have a PS4 Pro or Xbox One X to take full advantage of this conversion, as they go up to 4K resolution and keep those 60 frames in one second stable during playback, you are important to this school. Yes we have seen bass in Vanquish video squares. But those with a standard model of any of them can also live up to the enhanced experience. We tried to put the old Bayonetta version on the PS3 and left when it showed up, because it was a bad port that was in a very bad state for this study. Also, Vanquish takes the worst part and shows little.

We can open the debate over color management. We're talking about two-generation grawls and browns, of bad games, and these two aren't fought though there are efforts to use each one's rights in their own way. Although the color palette benefits from full development, having HDR-like technology in place would try to get the most out of it.

Another thing that has improved with the latest versions of both articles is the control, something that was much appreciated in the beginning. The delay of the pulsation reaction or the input lag is minimal so that making those long combos is good. In the second case, there is the benefit of a quick sensation that increases its magnificent beauty, which is a feeling of controlled action.

The benefit of keeping a noticeable reduction in download times even on standard PS4.

As for content, what we have is two complete games, nothing more, nothing less. Because in this 10 year co-ordination all DLCs do this research for their own purposes, for example weapons to the shooter, but there is nothing new about it or any particular content. So yes, there is something new, and the introduction of Japanese original vocals as an option.

Most of the bad points we have already mentioned are small features that should not divert attention from the original, that we are dealing with a fun mix of two different topics in almost everything but one that shares heart and essence. Technological advances are crucial, especially for more powerful consoles, and although Platinum Games may have done more, we have become increasingly satisfied with this tablet that brings us back to the growing research background and owes us, that is, that Bayonetta 3 should make a difference to Nintendo Switch.
