The first gameplay for GTA 6 was only recently shown. However, not in an official way, but in the course of a massive leak that should have made Rockstar sweat a lot. The leaked scenes were never meant for the public and were far from final. Nevertheless, a lot of information can already be drawn from the material – for example on the map and game world of GTA 6.
What exactly emerged from the leak – for which, by the way, a 17-year-old hacker who has since been arrested by the police in London is probably responsible – can be found in our article on the subject:

How the map for GTA 6 could look like
Based on the leaked footage of Grand Theft Auto 6, fans are trying to draw a rudimentary version of it. How exactly is the map puzzled together? You can use triangulation, mathematics or the knowledge of people living in real Miami.
After all, the leak confirmed that GTA 6 actually takes place in Vice City, which is inspired by real models, and as with GTA 5, fans can expect a fairly detailed, if of course not true-to-scale, replica. Snippets of the minimap in the leaked gameplay also help to get a rough feel of the open world.
However, this project takes place under difficult conditions, of course you don’t want to risk a lawsuit from Rockstar Games or publisher Take-Two – how my box reported. For this reason, tools such as Paint or Google Earth are used and no leak material. Those responsible for the project organize themselves in the GTA-Foren or on Discord and exchange behind closed doors the leaked gameplay or even traces of it.
The following picture shows what a first attempt at the map of GTA 6 looks like:

The leak problem
Of course, you should view the project with a healthy pinch of skepticism. After all, this is not an official map of the world of GTA 6, which is partly based on older and possibly outdated material. That the open world actually looks like this is extremely questionable.
However, even before the release of GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 on comparable projects, which ultimately resulted in an amazingly precise result. Accordingly, the project should not be unexciting for one or the other fan of Grand Theft Auto and Rockstar.
What the leaked gameplay for GTA 6 reveals or doesn’t reveal, colleague Phil has already worked up on the subject in his detailed column. What leaks – like those for GTA 6 or Diablo 4 – mean for GameStar and how we deal with them, you can find out in the text by editor-in-chief Heiko. Just take a look for yourself:
