Just yesterday, the first Samsung phones likely to receive Android 13 with One UI 5.0 Beta were leaked and today we have confirmation of a new device that ironically was not on this list: the Samsung Galaxy A52, A52 5G and A52s. All three have the door open for the One UI 5.0 beta program, based on Android 13.

Surprise, Android 13 for the Galaxy A52
A few months have passed since the stable version of Android 13 was official and so far Samsung has only updated -in beta form- its most premium models. Starting from the mid-range, it was expected that the company would prioritize the latest Samsung Galaxy A53, but instead the company announced the Android 13 beta for the previous model, the Galaxy A52
Samsung Galaxy A52 was launched in March last year with Android 11 and received the update to Android 12 in early 2022. Now its second major update is almost ready, in the Samsung One UI 5.0 Beta Program that the business starts first in India. The program covers Samsung Galaxy A52, Galaxy A52 5G and Galaxy A52s.
The beta program is accessible through the Samsung Members app, although for now it is limited to users in India. If enabled for more regions in the future, it should appear as an in-app banner for users of any of these models.
After registration, the mobile will receive in the next few minutes the A Notice of UI 5.0 Update as OTA. At the moment the firmware with this new version is not yet available in the Sammobile compilation for those who have the exact same model and want to be adventurous and want to install it with Odin (which we do not recommend too much), but it should be possible in a few days.
