We have bad news for pirate game fans who thought they would soon get their hands on the long-awaited Ubisoft game. It has been more than five years since it was announced, but it seems that it will take even longer. After the emergence of new rumors that said that Skull and Bones would be postponed, Ubisoft confirmed them in an official statement and revealed the game’s new release date.
What is the new release date for Skull and Bones after being postponed?
The company says on its official blog that they will no longer release the game on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. The new release date will be March 9, 2023.
According to the statement, the reason for the postponement is that the development team is still hard at work polishing and balancing the game. They had to postpone it to “ensure that they will offer the best possible experience.”
We already waited half a decade. Guess we can wait a few more months.
This news comes amid much turmoil at Ubisoft. Despite a commitment from their top managers to fight workplace and sexual harassment and abuse in their offices, a group of employees say they haven’t done enough and highly problematic people continue to hold top positions at the company.
