The VA panel of the AG353UCG is equipped with quantum dot technology. It therefore offers 90% DCI-P3 coverage. In addition, the 10-bit panel produces 1.07 billion colors and the associated finer color transitions and more precise colors that are designed for HDR (High Dynamic Range) content. The AG353UCG can display HDR precisely in games that use G-Sync Ultimate with minimal input delay and movies or TV shows with the support of VESA DisplayHDR 1000. Its dynamic range extends from 0.05 nits for black levels to 1000 nits for peak brightness. 512 local dimming zones also offer a wide dynamic range.
With a resolution of 3,440 x 1,440 pixels in 21: 9 format, the monitor handles 200 Hz refresh rate with a response time of only 2 ms (gray-to-gray). Other features include a three-sided frameless design, ergonomic functions and the option of wall mounting. Operation is via a 5-way mini joystick on the back. Additional extras include headset holder (on both sides), handle, cable management and RGB lighting on the back.
However, the AOC AGON AG352UCG is not a bargain: The AOC AGON AG353UCG will be available in Europe from February 2020 at a price of EUR 2,509.00 (RRP).
