Who's new Animal Crossing: New Horizons characters?

Animal, characters, Crossing, Horizons, Who39s

In Crossing the Animals: New Horizons, Nintendo is bringing back a bunch of interesting new characters that we know and love, while also introducing some new ones.

While some of them appeared behind the promotional art, Thursday morning Animal Crossing Nintendo Direct finally gave the names and intentions of many of them. Some of these NPCs serve a new purpose, but others replace the old NPCs, which raises the question: What happens to the old NPCs? Are they out of work now? Maybe you're retired? I'm worried.

No matter, here are some new characters we know Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which will be released March 20 on Nintendo Switch:

Orville and Wilbur

Two dodos make Dodo Airlines, deliver your email and take you around different islands. It turns out that Orville leads the desk, and a helmet by the name of Wilbur pilots.

Hey, stupid Nintendo, which makes it so that the airplane is operated by a collection of flightless birds named after Wright's colleagues.

Daisy Mae

Joan, a turnip salesman from previous Animal Crossing games, seems to have been replaced by Daisy Mae, a baby boomer like her. New boars look like they now dominate the lump market, where players can try to buy cheap turnips from Daisy Mae, and try to sell them for a higher price. I would die for her.

Nat has been replaced by a small, red puppy named Flickr. She looks very smooth and really cool. Like Nat, you're probably going to eat the bugs we caught for him. It's disgusting.

C.J.

This little beaver replaces Chip, a guy who used to go on old fishing trips. She is dirty and rounder than Chip, and she looks like a runner with these headlights on.
