After Season 2, Battlefield 2042 will probably continue with new content soon. EA had already announced the Liquidators event for October 2022, but had been stingy with the details so far. Now the well-known dataminer Temporyal is releasing new information that it probably found in the game files. He has correctly predicted new content many times in the past.

The event should Mid-October 2022 Go live. Neither the developers nor the unofficial sources reveal an exact release.
What’s new with the Liquidators event?
New game mode: Tactical Conquest
According to EA, there will be a new game mode limited to infantry. Dataminer Temporyal probably already knows more. That’s how the mode should be Tactical Conquest
Playing the new mode will also unlock unspecified rewards. These are probably new cosmetic items:

Temporyal also elaborates furtherthat the name of the game mode in the files indicates that Tactical Conquest is equivalent to Squad Contest mode. Veterans already know it from Battlefield 5.
New cosmetic items
Among other things, there should probably be a new skin for Sundance and the AK-24, which you can see in the tweet above. It is also possible that other cosmetics that have not yet been released will be introduced with the event:

What’s next after the event?
The next big date is the start of Season 3. Since the second season is scheduled to end on November 22nd, we can assume that season 3 will also start in November 2022. Big changes await us there, like the return to the class system, further map updates and of course new weapons, vehicles and more. A developer video already gives a foretaste:

From the end of October, however, the struggling Battlefield will also have to struggle with the release of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. The shooter competitor has just recorded a high number of players in the open beta, even if it didn’t completely convince Sascha.
