It seems that the recent ‘remake’ The Last of Us Part I for PS5 It was not enough for PlayStation Studios and it is also preparing an improved version of one of its most representative PlayStation 4 games: Horizon Zero Dawn and a new game or multiplayer mode.
According to a report from the publication MP1st what was corroborated by VGCthe version improvements of Horizon Zero Dawn for PlayStation 5 it would have an improved lighting system, even higher resolution textures, better animations and new character models. It would also include all the graphical and accessibility options that we saw in Forbidden West.
The sequel to Guerrilla Games’ game – released this year and whose review you can read here— has notable technical improvements. However, the original PS4 game still looks great despite its age. Many criticisms made of the recent ‘remake’ of TLOUincluding ours, insist that this is an unnecessary version and the same could be said of the supposedly improved version of Horizon Zero Dawn for PS5.
A multiplayer title Horizon
The MP1st and VGC report also talks about an alleged multiplayer project developed in the same world as Horizon Zero Dawn y Forbidden West, but we do not know if it will be a new title for PlayStation 5, 4 or a game mode for the remaster. This supposedly would allow creating characters from the different tribes of this post-apocalyptic world.
No further details about it were revealed. When the original game was released, many compared its combat system against machines with Monster Hunter. Could it be a hunting game? We will be waiting for more information about it.
