iPhone 14 Plus

Mac mini with M2
Apple hasn’t updated the Mac mini since releasing the M1 chip in 2020, and for some reason it still has the Intel version for sale as well. New models with the M2 chip and the M2 Pro (and possibly a slight redesign) should be on the way.
MacBook Pro with M2
The 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros entered our lives only a year ago, but they are expected to be updated with new M2 chips soon. Beyond that, the laptops should be similar to the 2021 generation.
iPad Pro with M2
The 11″ and 12.9″ iPad Pros still use the M1 chip. Now that the M2s have been on the market for several months, it’s time to update them, which could happen very soon. However, they shouldn’t be much different from current models beyond the chip and wireless charging.
What Apple software will arrive in October 2022?
The iPhone has already received the biggest update of the year, as have the Apple Watch and Apple TV. That’s not the case with iPadOS, which usually arrives alongside the latest iOS, watchOS, and tvOS.
Apple has decided that the first version of the new iPadOS will be iPadOS 16.1, which will arrive in October. It is usual that the new macOS also arrives later and this will still be the case with macOS Ventura, which is also expected this month.
iOS 16.1
In October, iOS 16.1 will arrive, the first major update to the Software from Apple after iOS 16. It will bring exciting new features such as Live Activities, battery icon improvements, new power features, and more.
iPadOS 16.1
This will be the first public release of iPadOS 16, as Apple has decided to skip iPadOS 16.0. The big feature will be the new Visual Organizer, which Apple is adding new tweaks to make it perfect at launch.
macOS 13 is coming
The Ventura release, or macOS 13, will bring a lot of great features, including the ability to use iPhone as a webcam, passkeys, iCloud Photo Library sharing, a new Settings app, and more.
tvOS 16.1
It doesn’t look like there will be much new in tvOS 16.1, but you should have new compatibility with the standard of smart home of Matter to go hand in hand with iOS.
What’s new coming to Apple services in October 2022?
Other novelties that we can firmly affirm are those that arrive in two of Apple’s services: Apple TV + and Apple Arcade.
