What an end of the day! CD Projekt Red pulls out the heavy artillery with an avalanche of projects. And including a new game that rivals The Witcher and Cyberpunk?
CD Projekt Red announces its new game
If there aren’t any more, there are still some. Polish studio CD Projekt Red has revealed to the world the existence of a new game: the Hadar project. A new IP still in the conception phase, reflection only started at the end of last year by a small team. The title hasn’t yet earned the right to an army of developers like The Witcher 4, who will also be waiting.
It is important to understand that we are currently still working on basic concepts and laying the groundwork for this new franchise.
That’s all we know, except that it has absolutely nothing to do with The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077. These two licenses will continue their own path with a new trilogy The Witcher and Cyberpunk Orion, codename of Cyberpunk 2.
We have to keep our fingers crossed that the studio takes its time with all these ambitious projects and that the teams don’t suffer from the same pressure as before. However, with the creation of the entity CD Projekt Red North America, this should help the developers of the main antenna in Poland quite a bit.
