Animal Crossing: New Horizons does not support Switch Online saving, and if the system is damaged or lost, you can only restore the saved data once.
Nintendo previously said that it plans to offer Switch Online users a save backup feature for use with Animal Crossing: New HorizonsBut today's Direct only said it was still under investigation.
Now, based on the beautiful pictures displayed on the screen (thanks to Nintendo Everything), "Due to the loss or damage of the system, Nintendo Switch Online members can only restore the saved data once."
Today, Nintendo is again promising to provide more information about this service after the game is released.
Currently, if the console stops working, you will not be able to transfer saved data from one Switch to another. All saves are stored on the console itself.
The reason people think it is impossible to transfer saves or games from one Switch to another Switch is related to allowing only one island per console, as multiple user accounts will share the same island.
Hope Nintendo has found a solution to this problem.
The game will be released on March 20.
