Most if Violent Night is above all a violent film, the whole will offer more tender moments, especially with the arrival of a little girl who will communicate with Santa Claus. So the goal here for Tommy Wirkola is indeed to make a Christmas film with the magic that goes with it.

In addition to David Harbour, who will wonderfully play the role of Santa Claus, Violent Night will propose to find several well-known heads, start with John Leguizamo that we have already seen The dead end by Brian De Palma, but also in Super Mario Bros.the 1993 film. In this story, he will play the leader of the thieves, dubbed Mr. Scrooge by his teammates, a reference to Ebenezer Scrooge, the short story’s anti-hero A Christmas song by Charles Dickens.
