Lego is partnering with Wizards of the Coast to celebrate Dungeons & Dragons’ 50th anniversary in 2023. Fans are invited to submit custom Lego designs of the in-game adventures they have experienced over the years such as: B. a blocky dragon cave full of loot, a scary beholder or a tavern brawl instigated by tiny yellow barbarians. Submissions are now openand will be accepted until November 14th. Winners will have their models turned into a retail product – and benefit from its sales.

Here’s how it works: Lego asks fans to submit a detailed display model or build a model that’s rooted in a D&D world. A panel of judges from the Lego Ideas and Wizards of the Coast team will select a selection of designs from this open pool of submissions. Your selection moves to the fan vote, which runs from November 28th to December 12th, 2022. However, votes are not the only way to select a retail product. Instead, they are designed to “help judges gauge fan interest in specific designs and validate fan enthusiasm for the topic.”

The person behind the winning design will receive:

1% of the total net sales of the LEGO IDEAS Dungeons & Dragons product;

10 free copies of your LEGO IDEAS Dungeons & Dragons set;

Recognition and Biography in Set Materials as a LEGO IDEAS Dungeons & Dragons Fan Designer; and a prize pack of Dungeons & Dragons goodies!

Submissions are open until November 14; Fans can submit their entries at Challenge page of the competition on the official Lego website.
