Finally, the developers have officially announced the crossplay between Xbox One and PS4. As Bluehole Inc. announced during the 2019 Inside Xbox, PUBG players can now expand their teams by incorporating users from different consoles. This new function called "Cross Platform Equipment" comes with the new update 6.2, people can see their Xbox Live or PlayStation Plus added friends at the top of the screen, while those from another platform will be in the option that says «Friends of PUBG» with the PUBG logo.
Players will be able to select users from another platform just like they do with their console. With this function you can also silence players or also join an independent game. In addition to this, developers have shared a graphic showing other additional features of the Cross-Platform Game between Platforms, such as changing weapons and accessories statistics in the different games, you can see all this in the official PUBG page.
