A rare (and bad) feature of the Android 11 music player

Android, Bad, feature, Music, player, rare

Android 11 arrived just a few hours ago in its first version of the developer version loaded with features such as 5G support, better neural networks or improvements in new screen interaction.

But besides that, we start to see some of these simple tasks, but which we will use more and more each day. For example a custom screen recording, without installing a third-party app.

Another option is to install a new music player, which has now appeared in the notification area in some strange way.

Interruption or new activity?

As we see in the video they recorded on 9to5Google, on Android 11 we have access to multimedia control in notifications, so far, but in a different location, at least once we've been raised half the curtain.

As you can see, the music playback widget covers the entire screen width when we display the panel, but not on its card, but inside the program shortcut.

In addition, when we partially lift the notification curtain it sinks and occupies the right place on the screen, joining shortcuts on the left side.

We do not know if it is a new work or an error that will not reach the final version. Aesthetically it is also not damaged, as you can see in the pictures of the recording of this work. The elements don't mix well as they go and transparency is not always enough.

The function, meanwhile, is compatible with multimedia programming applications, such as YouTube, as well as those of third parties, such as Spotify.

We will have to wait for the next development versions, or the first betas, to know if this work will be repaired or completed.
