The Syberia adventure series was continued on the PC in March, and console versions are now also following. The release will even take place here in the current year.
While many games were ultimately postponed to 2023, adventure fans have reason to celebrate: With Syberia: The World Before, a representative of the genre will also be released this year for the current PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles .
In a press release, Microids confirmed today that Syberia: The World Before has reached gold status for consoles and that this version of the title, previously only available for PC, has also been completed. The release for the two consoles will therefore take place on November 15, 2022.
The adventure hit is well received by fans. The title has 92% positive ratings on Steam, and journalists gave the title an average Metascore of 81%. For the consoles you can get the good piece in the 20 Years Limited Edition, which not only includes the game but also a media book to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the series.
The latest installment in the franchise plunges you headfirst into the beautiful universe created by Benoît Sokal. In this new adventure, you take on the roles of two women, Kate Walker and Dana Roze, who are able to move mountains to uncover the deepest hidden secrets of their own identities.
Side note: Implementations are also planned for PS4, Xbox One and Switch; however, these should not follow until next year, 2023.
