Microsoft does not hold back in spreading its in-house services on as many platforms as possible. Now it has been announced that Xbox Cloud Gaming will also come to Meta Quest.
During the Meta Connect Livestream, Microsoft also had another announcement ready. Company CEO Satya Natella announced that Xbox Cloud Gaming is now also planned for Meta Quest.
“Xbox Cloud Gaming makes it possible to stream hundreds of high-quality games to a range of devices – and that will include Meta Quest 2 in the future,” reads an accompanying blog post.
When Xbox Cloud Gaming launches on the Meta Quest Store, you’ll be able to connect an Xbox controller to your VR headset and play console games from the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate library on a massive 2D screen. A specific date for the launch has not yet been announced.
Meta also had some announcements up its sleeve, including the acquisition of studios Camouflaj (Iron Man VR) and Armature (Resident Evil VR), as well as Twisted Metal (The Maw).
