The launch of Overwatch 2 is in the news again, although this time for a reason that will not please Blizzard at all. The reason is because users have wanted to make their complaints clear about all the problems caused from the first day, which has led the game to suffer the fearful review bombing.
We have witnessed this practice on several occasions and it consists of users flocking to post negative opinions with scores that suspend the title in question. For example, on Steam there are several cases of this type and on Metacritic many others.
In fact, it is not the first time that a Blizzard product has been subjected to this practice, see Diablo Immortal or Warcraft III: Reforged. Even so, at the time of writing the news we can see that in Metacritic there are 1890 opinions written by the community with scores ranging from 0 to 2 in most cases, hence the average is currently at 1.5.
Exactly 1,626 of the opinions are negative, compared to 54 average scores and 210 positive. A good part of them complain about the poor state of the servers, the excessive time that must be spent to unlock items, their content or that they feel that there is no clear evolution compared to the first Overwatch.
At the moment, the only thing that Blizzard has commented on is that it is striving to improve the quality of Overwatch 2 and in return it has agreed to offer a series of prizes to compensate for the problems that have been caused since last week.
