Xbox Game Pass generated $2.9 billion in 2021.
In an article by TweakTownwe discover what the Xbox Game Pass generated last year 2021. And it is that the Redmond company has achieved more than $2.9 billionan astronomical sum for a service that offers games of all kinds.
These numbers don’t come out of nowhere. Indeed, after the takeover of Activision by Microsoft, the authorities reflect on many data to see the viability of the project. This merger has already been approved by the Board of Directors for Economic Defense (CADE) from Brazil. This famous council published a document which describes certain data on the Game Pass, including the 2,900 million the service entered for Microsoft.
This means that Xbox Game Pass accounted for about 18% of Microsoft’s total annual revenue for Xbox ($16.28 billion) and almost 30% of games and services revenue ($12.581 billion) for this period. It should also be noted that these astronomical figures do not take into account the PC Game Pass, only the Xbox one.
