Lenovo is one of the technology brands that best balances its presence in the computer and smartphone sectors, although the latter is done under the Motorola brand. In recent weeks, we have been able to test the latest products from the firm, the Neo and Ultra from the Edge 30 family, and we really liked them both.
In the IT sector, Lenovo stands out above all for its ThinkPad family, especially in the professional field.
And it looks like the company now intends to unite the two worlds, at least if we see the leak in the form of specs and images that 91mobiles has released.
A simple name change
As we can see in the photo, although it is terribly blurred, Lenovo would be designing a smartphone under the name of Lenovo ThinkPhone, a terminal that would somehow fit into the family of computers designed to work.
The strange thing is that it seems that this terminal would simply be a Motorola model (not yet announced), which would also be sold under this name. In other words, there would not be many differences.
It is true that Motorola has one of the best integration systems with Windows, but it does not seem to be a differential element with this terminal, at least compared to Motorola models.
Lenovo wants to promote its brands
This movement would be similar, if confirmed, to the one he performed with gaming mobiles, the Lenovo Legions, which take the term of their computers to play.
As they say, nothing is confirmed yet, but it seems clear that Lenovo wants to maximize its intellectual property, and ThinkPad is one of the big ones.
