Like other Battle Royale titles, Apex Legends changed its map over time, but now the original Kings Canyon map is making an unexpected comeback.

With Kings Canyon as a map, Apex Legends quickly became an absolute battle royale hit. In season 2 of the game, the map was changed before Respawn with season 3 pulled the plug in October 2019 and replaced Kings Canyon with the new map World's Edge. But now Kings Canyon is actually coming back again.
However, the pleasure is only temporary, because Kings Canyon is by no means making a permanent comeback and will not replace World's Edge in the long term. Instead, you can play the original version of the original card again as part of a special campaign from Friday to Monday, February 24th.
We're going back to where it all started. 😎

World's Edge has also undergone changes as a second map. With Season 4, not only was the map revised, Revenant also entered the game as a new legend.
The exciting question now is why Respawn Kings Canyon is now making a temporary comeback. It is possible that the developer would like to try out how matchmaking works with two maps in rotation in this way, because World's Edge does not have to give way this weekend. If everything goes smoothly and the community is not divided too much by several maps, then several maps in Apex Legends could also be conceivable in the future.
