The Valiant: 3-player co-op mode lets us play with a history expert who isn’t just a man in a costume.

braveNow on Steam, is a squad-based RTS set in the 13th century, where you control a group of Knights Templar in a grand historical action-adventure story spanning medieval Europe and the Middle East.

It includes PvP and co-op modes as well as a massive single player campaign: in order for us to play, we decided to hire the services of historical experts* to rely on their expertise in medieval combat and Templar trivia to see if that would help Our writers Connor and Sherif survive the wave-based Last Man Standing mode, which pits up to three players against an onslaught of armies, cavalry, archers, and elite troops. Target? Protect three precious carts from arson and survive fifteen waves of brutality.

Valiant is out now for PC, with a console version planned at a later date.
