The moment that fans of horror games have been waiting for for more than a decade has finally arrived. Through an official broadcast, Konami announced new games such as the ‘remake’ of Silent Hill 2, Townfall, fthe new film by Christophe Gans, an interactive experience called Ascension and ‘merchandising’ based on the franchise.

‘Remake’ de Silent Hill 2
As the rumors said, the Polish studio Bloober Team – responsible for horror titles such as Layers of Fear, The Medium y Observer— is in charge of reviving the story of James in his search for the truth after the letter from his late wife Mary.

This will be a modernized version of the original story, with a new behind-the-shoulder camera and a new combat system. Creature developer Masahiro Ito and composer Akira Yamaoka are involved in the project.
We still don’t know when it will go on sale. It will initially arrive on Steam and PS5. A year after its launch it could reach more platforms.
Silent Hill Townfall
This is a new game being developed by the independent studio No Code —responsible for Untold Stories y Observation— in collaboration with Annapurna Interactive.
We do not know details about the gameplay or the plot. Supposedly there are some hidden secrets in the trailer, which we have here subtitled in Spanish:
They did not reveal a possible release date for Silent Hill Townfall nor which platforms will it reach.
Movie Return to Silent Hill
A few days ago we heard French director Christophe Gans —director of the 2006 film— comment on this project. Now we have him talking in depth about it with producer Victor Hadida.

Gans revealed that the plot “will follow a young man who returns to the place where he met his great love” and compared it to the myth of Orpheus. From the looks of concept art and production designs, the film Return to Silent Hill

Silent Hill: Ascension
This “new way to experience the world of Silent Hill” is being developed by several companies including Genvid, Bad Robot Games, DJ2 and Behavior Interactive, responsible for Dead by Daylight

The truth is that it is not clear to us what it is. Those involved describe it as “an interactive experience in which an entire community participates and in which the decisions made together will be canonical.” We will have to wait to find out more.
Silent Hill f
This is the most intriguing Silent Hill-related announcement of the entire broadcast. This game is being developed by the Taiwanese company Neobards Entertainment, which is mainly known for helping Capcom in the development of various arcade games. Resident Evil. The story is by Ryukishi07, author of the visual novel series When they cry.
We don’t know much about it, but its trailer is very evocative.
The image of the strange flowers reminded us of the images that were leaked a few months ago, but we are not sure that it is the same project. At the end of the trailer Silent Hill f there is also a moment that seems to be a tribute to the movie Midsummer.
