Virtual reality may not have exploded like some expected in the mid-2010s, but the VR market continues to grow. The market research company Grand View Research estimates global virtual reality sales in 2021 at 21.8 billion US dollars, in 2022 they are expected to rise to over 28 billion. Mind you, this number does not only refer to gaming, but all possible VR application areas.

But VR gaming should also get a decent boost.

New hardware plays an important role in this. Our experts discuss what we expect from the VR year 2022 and which hardware leap is imminent VR Podcast, recorded live at FYNG Tech.

Tech moderator Jakob talks to Sebastian Zeitz about the status and future of virtual reality GameProthe PlayStation VR 2 could already try. Also on board is Dominik Eskofier, who works at the medical VR company Eden worked as Head of Virtual Reality at Nvidia and ran a VR startup in San Francisco (which Michael Graf and Sebastian Stange even visited).
