Quantic Dream publishes its own game

Dream, game, publishes, Quantic

A real leak fair has been going on for the past few months and this time it’s all about the highly anticipated Star Wars Eclipse.

We have been able to learn information about Star Wars Eclipse from Quantic Dream in the last few days. We’ll come back to it so that everyone can have the information in their heads. In force The Sacred Symbol Podcast, which we know keeps leaking information, had a guest named Colin Moriarty, who explains that he had in his hands documents related to the script of the Star Wars game from the French studio.

The information we learned about Star Wars Eclipse

So this Star Wars Eclipse would have a humanoid named Sarah in her 30s as the main character. This entirely new race in the SW Universe is described as the head of an empire of sorts called Zaraan. Moriarty goes on to explain that Eclipse will appear to focus on a political squabble and the protagonist’s marriage.

If she does marry, her marriage will have interesting military ramifications as they become a commanding unit that works together. That’s a problem because Sarah, a true fanatic who believes in violence and crime regularly fought by her empire, is married to a much softer character named Xendo. Part of the game seems to revolve around these two characters and their relationship.

In short, crisp information for a game we know next to nothing about at the moment. Well know that the journalist Tom Henderson simply declares that the details shared in the leak are not only true, but were deliberately disclosed by the developer, namely “on behalf” of Quantic Dream.

Quantic Dream reportedly then shared the information with the Sacred Symbols podcast to gauge community response and help the studio with recruitment. At the same time, Colin Moriarty explains that the game isn’t even actually in production yet and the studio still has a lot of freedom in writing.
