Personalization is everything
One of the most important features of this update is the customization it offers and allows us to choose the options we need on the home page, add different tiles for all different apps and services from iCloud and rearrange them according to the ones you use most often.
Although visually, it allows you to scale the various widgets to be larger or smaller.
To make these changes, Apple has slightly redesigned some of the appsadjust toolbars and button locations for a more optimized experience.
As Apple usually does, this time it also shared the preliminary result of this update on betathrough which they can test new features and changes before they are rolled out to the wider iCloud user base.
Once available, all users will be able to enjoy the new access to available services such as: Search My, Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Photos, iCloud Drive, Notes, Reminders, Pages, Numbers and Keynote. They will also be able to manage their iCloud account settings, including their iCloud+ subscription and associated iCloud storage information.
When it’s about department responsible for all Apple devices properly storing their data in the cloud and from the network thanks to synchronization, any change is welcome and although Apple took a while to do so, the wait was worth it.
