As PC Gamer reported, Nvidia has confirmed the bugged driver and is currently working on a hotfix. Until then, the developers recommend downgrading to an old driver version. We can confirm that the new issues with Nvidia Driver 522.25 released on October 12th are gone again.
Method #1
you can Download driver 522.25 from Nvidia website and just install it over the bugged driver. You should then be able to see 522.25 as the installed version again in Geforce Experience.

Alternatively, you can also press the Windows key, search for and open the Device Manager and then locate your graphics card there. Open the properties of your graphics card and switch to the tab driver
and choose the option Previous driver
